The Lake Poli School is a new initiative of Politecnico di Milano – Como Campus, which aims at: nearing students to companies and real problems, providing further opportunities to best and motivated students and opening our minds, working in an international and multicultural context. Crossing the boundaries of disciplines and cultures, LaPS challenges students, teachers, companies tackling open issues.

The result is a special edition of EMAG (PISA Magazine realized by the students) devoted to COMOGRAPHY. From today you can download the pdf version realized in particular thanks to the amazing effort of Baris Parlan. Tomorrow in occasion of the last LaPS seminars the participants will receive a paper copy.

Don’t panic! ;-) Emanuela Levi, from “Servizi Generali / General Services” Department, gave us a tip: use the service of polimi “Cerca aule”. You’ll able to see the map, a picture of the room and even some practical suggestions to reach the place from the train stations. You can use it not just for Como Campus but for all Polimi buildings. Wikipedia: English version will be blacked out for 24h

The English-language Wikipedia will be blacked out globally for 24 hours on Jan 18th to protest Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and PROTECT IP Act (PIPA). This will be the first time the English Wikipedia has ever staged a public protest of this nature. What do you think about?
